Leewood National Night Out 2011

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT August 2 - A Huge Success!

America’s Night Out Against Crime

Leewood's National Night Out 2011 was a another successful event with many homeowners in attendance. The Leewood National Night Out Cookout was held on Tuesday, August 2nd from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and nearly 100 people gathered in the common area next to 5288 Bradgen Court. Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Turkey Burgers and Dogs were grilled thanks to Bob & Lynda Flynn. Chips & Drinks and plenty of sweets were on hand as well.

The Fairfax Fire department along with the Fairfax Police were there meeting our neighbors. McGruff the crime dog was a big hit with the kids as you can see from the picture above.

It was a great combination of new residents and long time homeowers. Thanks to everyone who dropped by to socialize and enjoy a summer meal in the company of friends and neighbors.

Leewood’s 2nd Annual National Night Out - A Great Time!

Tuesday, August 5, 2008

Leewood again participated in The National Night Out on August 5, 2008. Festivities started at 7:30 p.m. in the common area between 7026 and 7018 Leebrad Street. Over 50 residents attended along with four Fairfax County police officers who handed out helpful information and fun items for the children in attendance. 25 burgers and 50 hot dogs were prepared and served along with chips and soft drinks. Many "door prizes" were given away highlighted by a pair of tickets to a Washington Redskins game. Many thanks go out to all of our residents who made this year's National Night Out a huge success. Plans were made and your LHOA looks forward to many Leewood gatherings to come. Here are some pictures taken at the event.
