Convening:
The meeting was called to order at 7:35
pm at the Phillips School, 7010 Braddock Road, Annandale, VA 22003.
The minutes for September 11, 2012 meeting
were reviewed and approved.
Open
Forum:

Kevin discussed
the fact that certain residents call after 11:00 pm with concerns and suggested
an afterhours phone number to be set up.
·
Janet mentioned
that there are several commercial vehicles that park in the community during
the day. Janet also mentioned that a homeowner has been throwing timbers in the
common area while having work done in their back yard.
·
Pat stated we
received information regarding a recycling program that ADS is doing called
“Think Before You Throw” and will call to see if we can get the pamphlet to
distribute to our residents.

The President stated
that he is looking for a suitable software program.

The Reserve Study
was discussed at great length. Changes were made and submitted.

Report on Finances: Leona Taylor and the board discussed the budget for
2013 and a tentative budget was agreed upon.
The budget will be reviewed at the November meeting and finalized. The
dues may be raised to $229 per quarter. The board will decide in November on
the amount to raise the assessment.
