Board Members Present:
Janet Rourke – President
Kevin Laugherty – Vice President
Lynda Flynn – Secretary
Margaret Pitotti – Treasurer
Mohammed Umar – At Large

Convening: The meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm at the Phillips School, 7010 Braddock Road, Annandale, VA 22003.

The board immediately entered into an Executive Session to discuss legal matters.

The minutes for May 2011 were review and approved.


Officier Reports:

• President: The president discussed the street repair on a small part of Leebrad Street and the speed humps. The board approved a proposal that ‘No Trespassing’ signs be posted in the Dry Pond. The board approved that a gift card, as a Thank You be given to a resident that has done a number of small projects for the community without charging. The new paving procedure was approved by the board. News letter articles were approved.

• Vice President: The Vice President stated that he has been meeting with fence contractors and getting pricing for replacing a portion of the perimeter fence. The ‘No Thru Signs’ will be ordered. The Vice President is looking into new software primarily for ARC and other uses.

• Secretary: Nothing to report.

• Treasurer: The treasurer reported that three homeowners accounts are with the lawyer and that five accounts are over $200.00

• At Large: Nothing to report.

• Architectural Review Committee (ARC): The following motions were made and approved regarding active ARC violations (Note: as the ARC Chair, The President, Janet Rourke, does not vote on ARC hearing decisions or other ARC matters required approval of the Board):

Penalties Forgiven: none
Extensions: none
Hearing Letter to be sent: none
Hearings to be re-scheduled: none
Second violation notices: 40 letters
With Lawyer: Two homeowners accounts
Second letters were approved to be sent homeowners and the board agreed to assess penalties to one homeowner.

• Grounds & Maintenance:

Items were included in the President and Vice President’s report

• Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 8.20 p.m.
