Board Meeting
Minutes

January 11, 2011

Board Members Present:
Janet Rourke – President
Lynda Flynn -- Secretary
Margaret Pitotti – Treasurer

Convening: The meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm at 7040 Bradwood Court, Springfield, Virginia .

Minutes: The November minutes were reviewed and approved. The December meeting was cancelled due to weather issues.

Officer Reports:

• President: The president stated that we invested in a CD. The graffiti on the sidewalk on Leebrad Street was covered over. A Resolution was passed that effective immediately homeowners must put their house number and street name on trash cans and recycle bins . Any trash can or recycle bin left out more than 24 hours after trash pick-up will be confiscated. The homeowner will risk being fined for littering the common area after due process. The president has a scheduled a meeting with the arborists to assess the damaged and/or dead trees that will be cut down. The president asked for a vote about advertising in the newsletter and the board voted against advertising. Clean up day has been scheduled for April 2nd with a rain date of April 9th. The board approved a letter to a resident of Larrlyn Drive concerning dead trees. The U-Turn sign has been replaced. Annual meeting package was discussed including the decision not to update the Leewood Handbook this year.

• Secretary: Nothing to report.

• Treasurer: The Treasure reported that there are 58 accounts outstanding, 4 of which are with the attorney
