September 21, 2006 Special Board Meeting
Minutes

A special meeting of the Board of Directors was held on September 21, 2006 at 7040 Bradwood Court, Springfield, VA 22151.

Attendees:

Bob Chilakamarri
Mohammed Umar
Janet Rourke
Rose Weber

The meeting was convened at 7:30 p.m. and immediately went into Open Forum. Since no homeowners were in attendance, the Board moved immediately to discussion regarding proposed trash contracts.

No definitive decision was made on a trash contract. The Board agreed that there was still not enough information to choose a specific trash company. The Board Secretary and Member–At-Large volunteered to personally meet with each trash company, discuss their standard contract and present our “wish list” in an effort to negotiate the best contract possible from each company in a fair and straightforward manner. These meetings will be conducted prior to the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board so that information can be presented and a company can be selected.

During this meeting the President also stated her intention to resign from the board for health reasons.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
