Leewood
in the Snow
LHOA Emergency Action Plan
Leewood has not had a "major" snowfall in
some time. Nonetheless, the LHOA is currently developing an action
plan for such an event in the future. Please use common sense when
dealing with trash, parking and snow removal.
If the night before trash pickup, snow is predicted,
please wait until the next morning and evaluate whether to put out
your trash at all. trash pickup services may not be running due
to in climate weather.
If because of the snow, trash is not picked up, please take it
back to your property, because it will not be picked up until the
next scheduled trash day.
Please do not pile trash on top of mounds of snow. In case of a
large snowfall, areas will be marked for trash pickup and homeowners
will be notified through the emergency communications system that
is being developed in the LHOA Emergency Action Plan.
If you have any questions or would like to help develop
the LHOA Emergency Action Plan, please send an email to our LHOA
Board President Janet Rourke at president@leewood.us.
